Amber and Andrew were in Melissa and Rich’s wedding party earlier this year. They live in Orange County, and made the trip up north for a photo session in the sand/ocean.
Heather and Justin are getting married next year, and we met up in Santa Monica. They were even kind enough to pick us up at the airport (thanks again!). Afterwards we went out to James Beach to get some food. The fish taco place in the movie I Love You Man, over in Venice.
The light out in the LA area is so much nicer than Ontario. The smog actually softens the light and makes it even better. We stuck around the Santa Monica Pier (Pacific Park!) and then headed up North to Malibu.
Here are a few of the photos!
Wow! What a great location for a wedding. The Oakville Waterfront is a photographers dream. So many great locations within just a few seconds walk. By sunset most of the tourist traffic had left, and we had a pretty great photo playground.
Patrick and Anne had a beautiful wedding. They got ready, got married, had photos taken, and had their reception all within walking distance. Which is always a big bonus.
Here are a few shots from the wedding:
Galt Country Club is a great place for a wedding! The course is never too busy, so you can always get out there for a few photos in some really amazing locations.
They lucked out with getting one of the best days for photos yet. Nice soft light from the clouds, with a little bit of sun.
p.s. great location in Cambridge for photos is the Gore Mutual building at 252 Dundas in Cambridge

The golf picture is priceless! 🙂

That girl walking down the stairs with the purse is an un-freakin’ real shot. What’s also engaging about it was wondering whether you ran to get your rig over a railing as you saw a shot developing, or you just held the camera up high as she walked by.

The way the shots look, this is a work of art..one look of it and it catches all your attetion.
This is the first to be posted from the busiest 4 days ever out in California. We started in L.A. for a few photo shoots, and headed up the coast to Napa Valley and then back down to San Francisco. I’m still getting everything together, but here’s a few shots from the final shoot we did out there.
Also, there’s a bakery in San Francisco that makes bread in the shape of animals. I just thought you should know.
Oh, also if you ever get the chance to drive up the Pacific Coast Highway to San Francisco, I 100% recommend it. The entire drive looks like this:
ardean - ooh, love the black and white image!
Kate Gass - I really like the playfulness of this session. Seems like they have lots of fun together. Great images
